Post Treatment: Below are a few post treatment tips. If you have had a corrective facial (Dermaplaning, Enzyme Peel, Chemical, intense extractions) or a facial waxing, then the following may apply to you. Post a ClearSkin facial, it is normal to experience: • Redness • Sensitivity • Flaking • Heavy Peeling (typically with a Chemical Peel) • Scabbing • Darkening • Irritation • Dryness • Tightness • Slight swelling For one week post treatment, do NOT use any of the following in your home regimen: • Retinol • Retin-A • Tretinoin • Differin • Vit E Oil • Olive Oil • Coconut Oil • Fragranced Oils • Exfoliants • Scrubs • Acids • Salicylic acid • Lactic acid • Glycolic acid • AHA’s • BHA’s Or anything that burns or causes sensation in the skin. If you are experiencing any of the above reactions (paragraph 1), then please go grab Jojoba Oil and plain Vaseline. You can find Jojoba oil at Whole Foods, Sprouts or Natural Grocers. Apply Jojoba oil in place of your nighttime moisturizer and before your SPF during the day. Apply the plain Vaseline on top of the Jojoba oil to encourage quick recovery in the affected areas.* *If you are concerned with your skin at anytime post treatment, it is your duty to contact your Aesthetician. They will ensure speedy and safe recovery with remedies that are specific to your skin type and concern. In addition to liberally applying SUNSCREEN, please refrain from the following for 3-7 days (depending on the treatment): • No hot water • No steam • No heavy sweating • No working out • No facial makeup • No facial waxing • No prolonged sun exposure • No fake tan Take this time to clean your makeup brushes and pillow cases!
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that ClearSkin observes a same day cancellation/no show policy. If you choose to reschedule or cancel the same day your appointment is booked, your next appointment may occur a rebooking fee up to 50% of the original appointment booked. ClearSkin has full discretion on whether to apply this policy or not.
